OpenClaw Setup Service

Stop Fighting Config Files

Get OpenClaw running in one session. An AI-assisted engineer remotes into your machine, configures LLM providers, installs plugins, verifies your gateway, and gets your first agent running.

Works on macOS, Windows, and Linux. For anyone who wants OpenClaw working without the headaches.

Three Steps. One Session. Done.

No screen sharing. No ticket queues. Direct access to your OpenClaw instance.

1

Run the Setup Script

One command opens a secure reverse SSH tunnel from your machine to Zedly. You control when it starts and stops.

2

We Configure Everything

LLM providers, model routing, plugin installation, gateway verification, and first agent test — all handled.

3

You're Live

Working OpenClaw instance with your preferred models, plugins installed, config backed up. Session log exported.

What Gets Configured

Everything you need to go from installed to productive.

🔑

LLM Provider Setup

API key configuration for OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, Ollama, or any provider OpenClaw supports. Verified working before we move on.

🔀

Model Routing

Configure which model handles which task. Frontier models for reasoning, budget models for extraction. Optimized for your workflow and cost target.

🛡️

Shield Installation

Install and configure Zedly Shield for PII redaction, API key detection, content deny lists, and audit logging. Protection from the start.

🧪

First Agent Test Run

Your first agent runs successfully before the session ends. We verify tool calls, model responses, and output quality live.

Cron & Scheduling

Set up scheduled agent runs for recurring workflows. Cron configuration, log rotation, and error monitoring handled.

💾

Config Backup

Your working configuration is backed up locally. If an OpenClaw update breaks something, you have a known-good state to restore.

Your Machine, Your Control

The reverse SSH tunnel model means you decide when access starts and stops.

User-Initiated Tunnel

You run the command. You press Ctrl+C to disconnect. Zedly cannot connect to your machine without you actively holding the tunnel open.

Full Session Log

Every command executed during the session is logged. You get the full log exported at the end. Complete auditability.

No Files Leave Your Machine

Configuration happens locally on your hardware. No files are copied to Zedly servers. Your data stays where it is.

Simple Pricing

One-time setup or ongoing support. No surprises.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the remote setup work?
You run a single command that opens a secure reverse SSH tunnel from your machine to the Zedly setup server. An AI-assisted engineer connects through the tunnel, inspects your OpenClaw installation, configures LLM providers, installs plugins, and verifies everything works. The tunnel is user-initiated and user-terminated — press Ctrl+C to disconnect at any time.
Is my data safe during the setup session?
Yes. The reverse SSH tunnel means Zedly connects to your machine only while the tunnel is active, and you control when it starts and stops. Every command executed during the session is logged and exportable. No files are copied off your machine. The setup engineer configures your local installation — your data stays on your hardware.
What operating systems are supported?
macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, and other major distributions). The setup script requires SSH, which is pre-installed on both platforms. Windows support via WSL is planned.
How long does a setup session take?
A typical first-time setup session takes 15 to 30 minutes. This covers LLM provider configuration, model routing, plugin installation, gateway verification, and a test agent run. Complex configurations with multiple plugins or custom skills may take longer.
Do I need to install OpenClaw first?
No. Most users already have OpenClaw installed, but if you don't, the setup engineer installs it for you during the session using the official installer. The setup assistant then handles everything else: LLM provider API keys, model routing configuration, plugin installation, gateway startup, and verification.
What about ongoing support?
One-time setup gets you running. Monthly support plans cover ongoing maintenance: LLM provider changes, OpenClaw updates, plugin conflicts, and configuration tuning. Each support session uses the same secure tunnel process with full command logging.
